ROADS ARE BEING REPAIRED

The 12.5-km road between Gavar and Gegharqounik had never been repaired
for the last 15 years. This was the reason why the drivers used every
bit of their imagination while driving along this road making use
even of the pavements.
On April of the current year started the reconstruction of the 10.6-km
part of the road "Gandzak-Saroukhan-Lanjaghbyur-Gegharqounik&q uot; started.
The reconstruction is financed by the program "Development of the
economy in rural areas" by the order of the RA Ministry of Agriculture.
The overall cost of the program is 536 thousand AMD.
The company carrying out the work claims that in case there are no
unforeseen obstacles, we will have a reconstructed road by October
of the current year.
