Armenian minister ridicules reports about his presidential nomination

Yerevan, 1 September: Armenian Defence Minister Serzh Sarkisyan treats
with humour reports published in local media about details of the
Sochi meeting between the Armenian and Russian presidents. The reports
claim that the presidents discussed his candidacy for the post of
Armenian president.
At today's meeting with journalists Sarkisyan said he surprised by the
short-sightedness of some politicians and journalists, but he
perceives all this with humour, because he knows what one-to-one
meetings between presidents of two countries are like.
"So this man, who has leaked information to media and mislead the
public, believes that he has more capabilities than foreign
intelligence services and can have access to this kind of
information. Such peoples are solely interested in having as much
power as possible and having an influence on the public.
Sometimes drunk peoples do such analyses," Sarkisyan said.
