Peter Semneby to visit Armenia

December 18 EU Special Envoy for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby will
arrive in Armenia in the framework of a regional visit. RA MFA Press
Secretary Vladimir Karapetyan informs that the EU Special Envoy id due
to meet with the leadership of Armenia. During the meeting with
Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian the accomplishment of the Action Plan
in the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy, and a whole
range of bilateral relations will be discussed. Reference will be
made also to the recent developments in the settlement of the Karabakh
conflict, considering the enlarged mandate of the Special Envoy (Peter
Semneby is entitled to be get more deeply involved in the Karabakh
settlement process). RA Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian had met with
Peter Semneby during his visit to Brussels December 3-4. According to
Vladimir Karapetyan, the meeting in Armenia will be the logical
continuation of the previous one.
