It may look like a moon, but it's actually an ice cream cake. Haagen
Dazs invited London-based design office Doshi Levien design a cake
for Christmas 2012. The ice cream is molded into two separate parts
and then put together.
According to Doshi Levien's Facebook page, they were inspired by
Armenian surrealist Leon Tutundjian's relief work of 1929. They also
found some early examples of the ice-cream that are near spherical.
The orange moon has crunchy chocolate at the bottom, layers of nutty
ice cream, salted caramel, and a coating of vanilla ice cream.
