ZARUHI POSTANJYAN: AT PACE I REPRESENTED THE INTERESTS OF THE ARMENIAN PEOPLE

ArmInfo. The Heritage party has never said that it must go to PACE
instead of ARFD. Unfortunately, they in ARFD did say such a thing,
the head of the parliamentary group of Heritage Styopa Safaryan said
during a press-conference today.
The regulations of the National Assembly of Armenia and PACE say that
all forces constituting the Armenian parliament should be represented
in the Armenian delegation to PACE. "We have always said that the
Armenian delegation should have representatives of both ARFD and
Heritage but the Dashnaks insist that only ARFD must be represented in
the delegation. Were the rights of our opposition allies violated, we
would stand up for them irrespective of ideological differences and we
expect the same attitude from our opposition partners," Safaryan said.
Member of Heritage, former representative of the Armenian delegation to
PACE Zaruhi Postanjyan said that, when working at PACE, she represented
the interests of the Armenian people.
