Armenian still not ready to join NATO - minister

Yerevan, 14 April: "Armenia is still not ready to join NATO and NATO
is still not ready to admit Armenia," Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan
Oskanyan said at Russian-Armenian (Slavic) State University today. The
lecture was organized in Yerevan for students of the Moscow State
Institute for International Relations of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The minister said that the system of ensuring Armenia's security
consists of several components. These are membership of the [CIS]
Collective Security Treaty Organization, the development of relations
with NATO and participation in European Union programmes.
