/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The "Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization
(BSECO) was established to give the member-states possibility for
integration and assistance, as well as to make use of the huge
potential of the region," Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian
stated at the BSECO Foreign Ministers' session. He said, 15 years
ago establishment of BSECO was a necessity, which currently is felt
sharper, especially when discussions are on the way around deepening
cooperation between BSECO and EU states.

"Transportation, energy, banking and educational all infrastructures
of the region need to be unified, and not separation and isolation,"
    Oskanian stressed.

In the result of the Foreign Ministers' session two documents
were signed - the Belgrade Declaration and a memorandum on mutual
understanding for coordinated development of the Black Sea ring
    highway.

The BSECO chairmanship was passed form Serbia to Turkey for 6
months. On June 25 a summit of BSECO member-states will be held
in Istanbul dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the organization,
the RA MFA Press Office reports.
