VARDAN OSKANIAN ON TOUR
The Press and Information Department of the Foreign
Ministry of the Republic of Armenia informs that
Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian is leaving for
Slovenia on August 26-27 in order to take part in an
annual forum, which this year is held under the "EU
2020. Expansion and Integration" slogan. President of
Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili, Prime Minister of Croatia
Ivo Sanader, Prime Minister of Lithuania Gediminas
Kirkilas, Prime Minister of Macedonia Nikola Gruevsky,
Special Envoy of UN on Situation in Kosovo Marti
Ahtisaari, Foreign Ministers of a number of foreign
states, political figures, representatives of various
political research centers and NGOs are expected to
take part in the forum. In the frameworks of the
forum, the Foreign Minister of Armenia is to have a
number of bilateral meetings.
September 3-4 Vardan Oskanian is arriving in Brussels
in order to take part in the meeting of Foreign
Ministers of European Neighborhood member states.
During his stay in Brussels Mr. Oskanian is to meet
with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.
