Turn to Levon Ter-Petrosyan's office with inquiries about Levon
Ter-Petrosyan's nomination, return to politics, and other issues. On
August 3 Davit Shahnazaryan gave this advice to reporters at the
National Press Club who was the head of the National Security Service
under Levon Ter-Petrosyan and is Levon Ter-Petrosyan's in-law. "I
just advise you to go only to his office if you want to get the right
information. If you want reliable information. I assure you will get
only suggestions from all the other sources," says Davit Shahnazaryan.
Isn't it possible to get reliable information even from Ararat Zurabyan
and Aram Manukyan who have stated for a number of times that Levon
Ter-Petrosyan may run in the election, the reporters asked Davit
Shahnazaryan? "I already said. These are only suggestions," Davit
Shahnazaryan stated.
The reporters inquired if he is one of those people who are persuading
Levon Ter-Petrosyan to run in the presidential election of 2008. "No,"
Davit Shahnazaryan said abruptly. He noted that there is no need to
blame persons because in reality the political system, the lack of
programs and ideas is the problem.
