NIZAMI BAHMANOV: I WILL GO TO NAGORNO KARABAKH THROUGH AGHDAM-KHANKENDI-SHUSHA ONLY

"I do not believe US co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza
has voiced such remarks in an interview to Russian Vremya Novosti
newspaper. This needs to be clarified first of all. If he really
thinks so he has made a blunder and exceeded his powers," said Nizami
Bahmanov, head of Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh to APA.
He stressed that such political maneuvers were previously observed
on the negotiations for the resolution of the conflict and they met
serious reaction of Azerbaijan every time.
Reminding that Azerbaijan's independence is recognized by all world
states the community head stressed the necessity of clarifying whether
or not US official representative did not rule out the possibility
of Nagorno Karabakh's becoming independent.
"Armenians have already achieved their self-determination which
resulted in their building a state in historical Azerbaijani
territories and we will never allow them to build a second Armenian
state in Nagorno Karabakh," he stressed.
Commenting on deputy foreign minister Araz Azimov's statement
"Azerbaijan wants arrangement of Nizami Bahmanov's visit to the
occupied territories," Mr.Bahmanov did not rule out its possibility.
"This issue has been on the agenda for many years. Armenian and
Azerbaijani communities have met in foreign countries. These meetings
can be assessed positively. We can continue such meetings. As
holding these meetings in Khankendi or in Shusha, we will not go
to Nagorno Karabakh from other direction. The only way for us is
Aghdam-Khankendi-Shusha. But the matter is we are not going to have
talks under their emblem and with so called president of the current
regime in Nagorno Karabakh," he stressed.
