Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the National Assembly
On December 6 the President of the National Assembly of the Republic
of Armenia Mr. Tigran Torosyan received the Ambassador of the Russian
Federation to Armenia Mr. Nikolay Pavlov.
Mr. Pavlov handed over the invitation on participation at the first
sitting of the newly elected State Duma of the Russian Federation,
which will be held in Moscow in the mid December.
Accepting the invitation the NA President Mr. Tigran Torosyan
conveyed his congratulations to his colleagues of the State Duma of
the Russian Federation on the occasion of the successful elections
and formation of the legislative body and expressed confidence that
from now on the Armenian-Russian inter-parliamentary relations will
develop both bilaterally and in deepening the multilateral ties too.
