PROBLEMS CONCERNING PRE-ELECTION SITUATION IN ARMENIA, PACE CO-RAPPORTEUR SAYS

George Colombier, co-rapporteur of the Council of Europe Parliamentary
Assembly (PACE) Monitoring Committee on Armenia expressed his
concern over the pre-election situation in Armenia, APA's Europe
bureau reports.
The co-rapporteur said that there are problems in providing conditions
for the presidential candidates to use opportunities of Public
Television in a more balanced way. He also said that police threaten
and exert pressure on mass media.
