A.D.P RULES OUT SUCH POSSIBILITY
In January the Democratic Party of Armenia will declare which of
the presidential candidates it is going to support in the 2008
presidential elections. As Aram Sargsyan, leader of the party
reported yesterday, the democrats are still discussing the issue of
supporting any of the candidates.
At the same time, he ruled out any possibility of supporting L.
Ter-Petrosyan. `We are still discussing the issue of supporting the
presidential candidates, but we may make a decision not to support
anyone.'
According to the ADP leader, among the potential favorites of the
upcoming elections are the RPA leader Serge Sargsyan, the `Rule of
Law' leader Arthur Baghdasaryan and the NDU leader Vazgen Manoukyan.
