AGAIN WITHOUT RESULT
The fifth round of 17th international chess tournament
held in Spain closed. Armenian chess master Gabriel
Sargsyan played draw with Chinese Vong Yui.
Armenian national Sergei Movsisyan competing under the
flag of Slovakia recorded similar result with Spanish
Pons Valeo. Among 4 games of the 5th round only
Spanish Hamrakulov could win over Alexander Beliavski.
So the tournament is headed by Valeo with 3.5 points
and another 6 sportsmen have 2.5 points. Sargsyan is
at the last eighth place with 1.5 points. The
representative of Armenia will meet Spanish Hamrakulov
in the 6th round.
