St. Blaise was Bishop of Sebaste in Armenia and a martyr also a
physician before becoming a priest.
Associated with the Blessing of Throats renewal of this tradition
takes place on his feast day, Saturday next, Feb. 3rd after 10am Mass
in St. Aidan's Cathedral.
