SQUARE TO BE NAMED AFTER HRANT DINK IN ARABKIR DISTRICT OF YEREVAN

Hrayr Karapetian, the leader of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation
faction in the Armenian parliament, said this week that the faction
has received many letters from the residents of Yerevan.
The residents raise many issues concerning them, and the faction will
hold meetings with them in the districts of Yerevan. The first meeting
will be held on February 10 in the Arabkir district at 36 Komitas St.;
between 12:00 and 15:00.
Karapetian also said that taking into account the letters form the
residents of Arabkir district, the faction has asked the Yerevan
municipality and the Arabkir district municipality to name a square
in the Arabkir district after Hrant Dink, the editor-in-chief of the
Agos weekly, killed in Istanbul.
