FEBRUARY 20 MARCH ON THE OCCASION OF KARABAKH MOVEMENT'S 19TH ANNIVERSARY TO BE HELD IN STEPANAKERT

In connection with the Karabakh movement's 19th anniversary, February
20 a March initiated by Hayk's Generation NGO and the Motherland's
Defender youth organization will be held in Stepanakert.
The march will start at the Victory Square, DE FACTO own correspondent
in Stepanakert reports. A ceremony of rewarding of the Republic's
Defense Army military units will be conducted at the Revival Square
within the frames of the measure. A documentary dedicated to the
Karabakh movement will be shown at the Officers' House.
To remind, February 20, 1988 the session of the Nagorno-Karabakh
Autonomous Region People's Deputies Council rendered a decision to
apply before the USSR Supreme Council for the region's cession from
Azerbaijan to Armenia, which marked the beginning of the Karabakh
movement.
