Armenian officials, French minister discuss ties

French Minister-Delegate in charge of Regional Development Christian
Estrosi held a number of meetings within the framework of his visit to
Yerevan on 24 February, Arminfo news agency reported.
The meetings with President Robert Kocharyan, Foreign Minister Vardan
Oskanyan and Territorial Administration Minister Hovik Abrahamyan
discussed the Year of Armenia in France and cooperation in the sphere
of regional development. Saying that the models of state management
in France and Armenia have similarities, Kocharyan stressed that
Armenia wanted to benefit from France's experience in territorial
administration. Armenia adheres to the policy of decentralization of
power, the agency quoted him as saying.
