OMX PRESENTED THE FINAL PACKAGE ON THE STUDY OF SECURITIES MARKET OF ARMENIA

Yerevan, February 27 /Mediamax/. The Stockholm Stock Exchange /OMX/
presented the final package on the study of the securities market
of Armenia, Chairman of the Armenian Central Bank Tigran Sarkisian
informed today.
Mediamax reports that Tigran Sarkisian stated that the given package
was considered by the corresponding ministries and was positively
assessed.
The CB Chairman noted that in case of realization of the given
project, OMX will become the owner of the Armenian Stock Exchange
and the Armenian enterprises will gain the opportunity to hold IPOs
on international Exchanges.
Tigran Sarkisian reminded that the Stockholm Stock Exchange is
the owner of the Exchanges of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and other
countries.
According to the assessments of the Central Bank, for the development
of the securities market in Armenia, the presence of 7-12 companies
with the capital of $40-70mln is necessary.
