3 PEOPLE KILLED AND ANOTHER 37 INJURED IN 23 ROAD
ACCIDENTS OF THE FIRST WEEK OF NEW YEAR
YEREVAN, JANUARY 7, ARMENPRESS: Twenty-three road
accidents were reported in the first week of the new
year killing three and injuring 37 people, Armenian
road police department said.
The period between January 1-7 was celebrated by
Armenians as New Year and Christmas (Armenians mark it
traditionally on January 6) holidays.
Also 56 fires were reported in the same time span,
one of which killed a 47 year-old woman.
