HIS HOLINESS ARAM I RECEIVES THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE
Lebanese Justice Minister Charles Rizk visited His Holiness Aram I for a
private meeting in Antelias on January 9.
The minister informed the Catholicos in detail about the internal political
situation in Lebanon, with particular reference to the international court.
The Pontiff stressed the importance of bringing Lebanon out of its current
stalemate and looking for solutions based on mutual compromise and
understanding. He expressed his viewpoints on the all the issues being
discussed by the political forces in Lebanon today.
