LEBANESE ARMENIANS DENY ANTI-GOVERNMENTAL STATEMENTS IMPUTED TO THEM
Yerevan, January 15. ArmInfo. The Lebanese Armenians deny the
anti-governmental statements imputed to them.
As the message of representatives of Lebanon's Armenian community
reports, the statements are lately exaggerated in the Armenian press
as if the Armenian community is against the present authorities
and cooperates with "Hezbollah" movement. "The "Arka" Agency has
recently spread an information about the "oppositional tendency" of
the Armenian community of Lebanon towards the present authorities. We
assure that the most of Lebanon's Armenian community cooperates with
the Prime Minister, Siniora, and supports the country's Government",
the message says.
