CEC RECEIVES OSCE AMBASSADOR

Tsovinar Khachatryan, press secretary of Central Electoral Committee
(CEC), told Panorama.am that CEC Chairman Garegin Azaryan received
today Christian Shtrohal, Head of OSCE Democratic Institutes and
Human Rights Office together with the delegation spearheaded by him.
In the words of Khachatryan, the sides discussed amendments in
the Election code especially the voting procedures and summing up
election results. CEC chairman referred to professional training
courses organized for candidates of election committee members saying
the trainings will continue on state released funds.
The observers were introduced to other issues of election campaign. The
delegation assured they would be happy to help the committee in order
to ensure free, fair and transparent elections.
