LEADER OF ARMENIAN DEMOCRATS ASTONISHED AT ARMENIAN AUTHORITIES'
INERTNESS TOWARDS CEASELESS MURDERS OF ARMENIANS IN RUSSIA
Yerevan, January 25. ArmInfo. MP Aram G. Sargsyan, the leader of
the Democratic Party of Armenia, expressed his astonishment at the
Armenian authorities' inertness towards ceaseless murders of Armenians
in Russia.
Today, at the discussion club, at an ArmInfo correspondent's request,
Aram G.Sargsyan commented upon the situation in the Armenian-Russian
relations in the context of ceaseless murders of Armenians in Russia.
He noted that the meetings of Armenian and Russian Presidents Robert
Kocharyan and Vladimir Putin, particularly, their last meeting in
Sochi, covered a wide range of issues, such as energy cooperation,
regional problems, Turkey's aggressive sentiments against Iraq and
many other natural things. "But why didn't Robert Kocharyan express his
attitude towards the problem of ceaseless murders of Armenians on the
territory of Russia? First and foremost, citizens should be protected
by the state, and not by the opposition or public organizations>,
he said.
