/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The United States and Azerbaijan exchanged views
on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement during the security
    consultations in Washington.

"Washington has always recognized independence and territorial
integrity of Azerbaijan," Azeri Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov
    told a news conference.

However, the OSCE Minsk Group U.S. Co-chair, Mr Matthew Bryza refused
to comment on the issue of U.S. recognition of Azerbaijan's territorial
    integrity.

"Discussions are held. However, there is no universal formula of
priority between the principles of territorial integrity and the
peoples' right to self-determination," he said, APA reports.
