JI EN GOPAL WINS IN "LAKE SEVAN" INTERNATIONAL CHESS TOURNAMENT

MARTUNI, JULY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. Ji En Gopal from India is in the
lead in the "Lake Sevan" International Chess Tournament after five
stages with 3.5 points. Three participants: Yuri Vovk (the Ukraine),
Bartolomey Macheyan (Poland), and Tigran L. Petrosian (Armenia),
have three points each, and Arman Phashikian (Armenia), Lee Chao
(China), and David Haroutiunian (Georgia) have 2.5 points each.
