AMERICAN PARTY KEEPS UP WITH EVENTS REGARDING RADIO LIBERTY, RUDOLF PERINA SAYS

YEREVAN, JULY 16, NOYAN TAPAN. Issues related to bilateral relations
and regional issues were discussed at the July 16 meeting of the RA
Foreign Minister, Vardan Oskanian, and the U.S. Charge d'Affaires
to Armenia, Ambassador Rudolf Perina. The interlocutors also in
general outline discussed the current stage of the Nagorno Karabakh
negotiations.
R. Perina said that the American party keeps up with the events
regarding Radio Liberty. He expressed the hope that the negotiations,
which have started lately in connection with that problem, will be
given a mutually beneficial solution.
As Noyan Tapan was informed by the RA Foreign Ministry Press and
Information Department, Vice-Ambassador Anthony Godfrey completing
his mission in Armenia was present at the meeting.
