RA Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Serge Smessov.
Appreciating the continuousness of the high level of Armenian-French
relations, the Armenian Prime Minister and the French Ambassador emphasized
the importance of the Year of Armenia in France, which, according to them,
adds special nature to Armenian-French relations, and actually creates an
exceptional opportunity to properly present Armenia to France with its
centuries-old history, culture and future programs.
Attaching importance to high-level reciprocal visits and the recent visit of
the Armenian President to France, Ambassador Smessov noted taht those in
Paris are preparing for the visit of RA Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan.
Programs of development of cooperation in a number of spheres were discussed
during the meting. The interlocutors exchanged views on the developments on
the international political arena, the process of settlement of the Karabakh
conflict.
