NUMBER OF PERSONNEL CHANGES MADE IN RA ARMED FORCES
YEREVAN, JULY 20, NOYAN TAPAN. A number of personnel changes were
made in the RA Armed Forces by the July 20 decree of Robert Kocharian,
the RA President. According to the message provided to Noyan Tapan by
the RA President's Press Office, the following changes have been made:
Major-General Artush Haroutiunian has been released from the post of
the RA Military Commissar,
Major-General Kamo Kochunts has been appointed RA Military Commissar
after being released from the post of the Chief of the Operative
Department of the Headquarters of the RA Armed Forces - Deputy Chief
of Headquarters and concluded a five-year term contract,
Colonel Artak Davtian has been appointed Chief of the Operative
Department of the Headquarters of the RA Armed Forces - Deputy Chief
of Headquarters and concluded a five-year term contract,
Lieutenant - General Stepan Mirzoyan has been released from the post
of the Chief of the Military Institute of the RA Ministry of Defence,
Major-General Garegin Gabrielian has been appointed Chief of the
Military Institute of the RA Ministry of Defence, named after Vazgen
Sargsian after being relieved of the post of the Commander of the
first Army Corpus of the RA Ministry of Defence,
Colonel Poghos Poghosian has been appointed Commander of the first
Army Corpus of the RA Ministry of Defence,
Colonel Andranik Makarian has been appointed Commander of the fifth
Army Corpus of the RA Ministry of Defence, concluding a five-year
term contract,
Major-General Valeri Grigorian has been appointed Commander of the
fourth Army Corpus of the RA Ministry of Defence, after being released
from the post of the Commander of the fifth Army Corpus of the RA
Ministry of Defence and concluded a five-year term contract.
