HOUSTON, May 30 -- Blackstairs Energy PLC, private Dublin concern,
and Vangold Resources Ltd., Vancouver, BC, plan to explore blocks 4,
5, and 6 totaling more than 3.4 million acres in central and southern
Armenia.
The blocks have a 5-year exploration term and $2.4 million financial
commitment.
The companies plan to learn more about the petroleum system,
highgrade areas, and identify prospects to consider for further
delineation or drilling (see map, OGJ, Aug. 12, 2002, p. 36).
