YOUNG PEOPLE WILL FIND WHAT THEY WANT

The central square, the park, open-air cafes at best. These are
the places where the young people of Stepanakert spend their free
time. Young people walk in the square, look for a PLACE where they
can dance, listen to music, make new friends. They seek and cannot
find anything. There is no such PLACE in Stepanakert. Therefore,
young people are passive, there is no what they call it a youth
movement. The reason is the absence of a PLACE.

And while our politicians make vows during the election campaign,
the Moscow-based businessman Narine Davidyan decided to give young
people a PLACE without any promises.

She first visited Artsakh 13 months ago, and it felt like home. She
felt that people are simple and discreet. And she decided to give
Artsakh something great. "I talked to lots of young people, and
they all say they have no occupation. I went to Yerevan, made a
    business-plan in a night.

I sent it to Stepanakert, it was approved, and I launched the plan,"
Narine Davidyan said in an interview with the KarabakhOpen.

Narine decided to build a center for youth in Stepanakert. There is
already 1500 sq m of land. She says the center will have a disco, a
cinema where small concerts could be held as well, tennis and badminton
courts, a fashion studio, a library and other facilities. "For me,
it is not business. I just want the young people of Karabakh not to
leave the country only because they have nothing to do here," Narine
    Davidyan says.

We hope the young people walking in the central square will finally
find what they have been seeking for so many years.
