Recurrent Kocharyan-Aliyev meeting took place in Saint Petersburg

June 9 the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan Robert Kocharyan and
Ilham Aliyev met in Saint`Petersburg ` the northern capital of Russia
on the sidelines of the unofficial summit of CIS Presidents.
It's worth mentioning that unlike the two previous meetings of the two
Presidents in Bucharest and Ramboulliet, this meeting was promising
optimism and considerable progress on the fundamental principles,
according to Minsk Group Co-Chairs. The parties have not yet opened the
brackets of the talks. However, the latest statements from both Baku
and Yerevan prompt that expecting serious progress was still untimely.
It's only known that the 3-hour meeting in `Baltic Star' Hotel was face
to face, later the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the Foreign Ministers
of the two countries joined the Presidents. The parties presented their
views and discussed the fundamental principles. No other details of the
meeting are known.
