IRAN INVITES ARMENIA TO INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE IN TEHERAN

YEREVAN, June 14. /ARKA/. Iran has invited RA Minister of Transport
and Communications Andranik Manukyan to take part in an international
scientific conference to be held in Teheran in July 2007.
In this context, at his meeting with RA Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan,
Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Alireza Khakikian pointed out the
desirability of Armenia's participation in the conference.
The Iranian Ambassador pointed out that the conference will discuss
transit ways and the issue of the "North-South" corridor.
During the meeting Premier Sargsyan briefed Ambassador Khakikian
on the development of the negotiations for the Nagorno-Karabakh
settlement.
