RA DELEGATION TAKES PART IN ANNUAL MEETING OF DEFENCE MINISTERS OF EUROATLANTIC PARTNERSHIP COUNCIL

BRUSSELS, JUNE 15, NOYAN TAPAN. The delegation of Armenia led by RA
Defence Minister Mikhail Haroutiunian also took part in the annual
meeting of Defence Ministers of Euroatlantic Partnership Council held
on June 14 at NATO Headquarters.
Before the sitting M. Haroutiunian had a short meeting with Defence
Minister of Czech Republic Vlasta Parkanova. They discussed issues
of providing assitance to Armenia by Czech Republic and promotion of
bilateral cooperation.
After the meeting of Defence Ministers M. Haroutiunian met with
Greek Defence Minister Evangelos Meimarakis. They discussed issues of
participation of second Armenian peacekeeping battalion in Kosovo,
participation of Armenian officers in higher commander courses at
Greek military academies.
As Noyan Tapan was informed from RA Foreign Ministry Press and
Information Department, Samvel Mkrtchian, head of RA mission in NATO,
also took part in the sitting of Defence Ministers and in the meetings.
