BAKO SAHAKIAN RELIEVED OF POST AS DIRECTOR OF NKR NATIONAL SECURITY SERVICE

STEPANAKERT, JUNE 18, NOYAN TAPAN. Taking as a basis the provisions of
the 2nd subpoint of the 4th point of Article 19 of the NKR Electoral
Code, NKR President Arkady Ghoukassian signed a decree on June 18,
according to which Bako Sahakian, a presidential candidate in NKR,
was relieved of his post as Director of the National Security Service.
By the same decree of President Viktor Kocharian, the First Deputy
Director of the National Security Service assumed the commission as
the National Security Service Director.
