Orchestra after Arno Babajanyan to give its first concert today

The first concert of the Orchestra after Arno Babajanyan will be held
today the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Alexander
Spendiaryan. Famous Armenian singers will participate in the concert.
The initiator and organizer of the concert is Arno Babajanyan's Memory
Fund. The Director of the Armenian branch of the Fund Jacques Hakobyan
told Armenpress that the idea of creation of the orchestra was born
still after the dissolution of the Orchestra after Konstantin Orbelyan.
Jacques Hakobyan noted that the idea was approved also by maestro's son
` singer and actor Ara Babajanyan, who will also participate in the
concert.
After the presentation in Yerevan the orchestra intends to perform in
marzes of the republic and CIS countries. According to Jacques
Hakobyan, the main objective is to propagate Arno Babajanyan's
classical art and to present his compositions to the younger
generation.
