PRESIDENT OF GREECE TO PAY A STATE VISIT TO ARMENIA

At the invitation of RA President Robert Kocharyan, June 26-28 the
President of the Republic of Greece Karolos Papoulias will arrive in
Armenia on a state visit.
The delegation headed by the President of Greece will comprise Deputy
Foreign Minister Teodoros Kassimis, Deputy Defense Minister Ioannis
Labropoulis, other officials.
June 26 the two Presidents will meet face-to-face, after which the
meeting will continue in an enlarged format. Robert Kocharyan and
Karolos Papoulias will give a joint press conference.
The President of Greece will have meetings with the Speaker of the
National Assembly Tigran Torosyan, Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan,
will visit the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and will meet
with representatives of the Greek community.
Karolos Papoulias will visit the memorial to the Armenian Genocide
victims, Matenadaran and the Yerevan State University.
In the National Theater of Opera and Ballet after Alexander Spendiaryan
the First Ladies of Armenia and Greece will listen to the concert of
Greek singer E. Arvanitaki.
The delegation headed by teh Greek Presidnet will leave Armenia on
June 28.
