EU SPECIAL ENVOY PETER SEMNEBY TO VISIT AZERBAIJAN IN JUNE

In the second half of July the EU Special Representative for the
South Caucasus Peter Semneby will visit Azerbaijan, Novosti Azerbaijan
reports. He noted that the visit will be of official nature. "Meetings
with the leadership of the republic are expected. Issues of
Azerbaijan-European Union relations will be discussed. Ways of the
peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict will be considered,"
the diplomat noted.
During the visit to Baku the EU Special Envoy is scheduled to meet
with the Head of the "Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh"
public union Nizami Bahmanov, representatives of political parties
and non0governmental organizations. In the diplomat's words, the date
and program of the forthcoming visit are being corrected currently.
