Hajk Galstyan from Vahramaberd village in the region of Shirak is
missing since 4 June 1999. He joined the army in 1998 and was serving
in a military unit in the region of Tavush. The efforts of his parents
to find their son were in vain.
Larisa Chakhoyan, Hajk's mother, intends to arrive in Yerevan and on
29 June, when the day of all missing people will be commemorated,
she wants to meet Robert Kocharyan together with those mothers who
lost their children during the war.
She believes that this issue may be solved only on the official
level. If Mr Kocharyan does not receive her, she will go on a hunger
strike.
