ARMENIAN OFFICIALS ISSUED 31,000 VISAS TO FOREIGNERS LAST YEAR
YEREVAN, MARCH 16, ARMENPRESS: Armenian authorities
issued last year almost 31,000 visas to foreigners
wishing to enter the country. Almost 4,500 visas were
e-visas issued online, 982 visas were issued while
foreigners crossed the border.
Other visas were given by Armenian embassies and
consulates in 34 countries. The biggest number of
visas were given to citizens of Iran (over 4,000
visas) , followed by citizens from the USA, Syria,
France. Overall 386 million drams were collected last
year as visa dues.
