TIGRAN KARAPETICH THREATS TO WORLD YEZDI LEADER

"They want to disrupt yezdi people,"leader Aziz Tamoyan claimed
today. According to him some people have decided to disrupt the yezdi
community in Armenia. "Though minority, we are RA citizens. We know all
leaders of the 27 parties but we need to elect just one of them. If
I make our choice public, it will give reason to some conflict. For
minorities it is a secret voting. We know who we are electing, but
I won't tell it." Although Mr. Tamoyan has refrained from informing
who yezdi residents are voting for, the yezdi people are turned out
to be adherents of three parties: 'Alliance', 'Prosperous Armenia'
and 'People's Party'.
' This is a deliberate action: they make some representatives of our
nation speak against us. We are together with the Armenians. It is our
choice to make,'Aziz Tamoyan mentioned. 'I've heard Tigran Karapetich
say that leader of yezdi people will endorse a certain party. It is not
forbidable. I am very offended. Every person will decide for himself.
It is not an issue to solve by threats.'
4 yezdis run for the coming NA elections with the proportional ticket.
TURKS ARE EAGER TO KILL 1MLN YEZDIS> Apart from the electoral issues,
yezdi people have another concern." The Turkish troops have entered
North Iraq, our sacred place," Aziz Tamoyan stated.
Although there is no official announcement on the issue, he confirmed
that he got the information through European connections.'We condemned
it. This may result in slaughter. If Turks claim for territory,
they should organize round-table meetings thus giving solution to the

there. Otherwise we are intended to organize demonstrations in front
