AS OF APRIL 30, NUMBER OF CITIZENS ON ELECTORAL ROLLS AMOUNTED TO 2 MLN 301 THOUSAND 662

YEREVAN, MAY 2, NOYAN TAPAN. As of April 30, the number of citizens
on electoral rolls of parliamentary elections amounted to 2 mln 301
thousand 662.
Police Colonel Alvina Zakarian, Head of Passport and Visa Department
of RA Police, reported at the May 2 meeting with journalists. She
reminded that in the preliminary lists presented on April 2 this
number amounted to 2 mln 32 thousand 747.
A. Zakarian said that the most active among public-political
organizations applying to the department is the Orinats Yerkir Party,
and the incorrect data in electoral lists mentioned by its have been
liquidated. ARFD has submitted an application about 235 voters' having
been left out of lists. However, in A. Zakarian's words, information
about voters' being left out of electoral lists was not confirmed.
600 calls were received by the hot line service working in the
Passport and Visa Department since April 6. In A. Zakarian's word,
all questions raised were examined.
