IN JANUARY-MARCH, 2007 AMOUNT OF NKR GNP INCREASED BY 16.3 %

In January-March 2007 the amount of the Nagorno-Karabagh Republic
GDP increased by 16, 3 % as compared with the same period 2006,
making 12 milliards 21, 4 millions drams.
According to the information DE FACTO received at the NKR National
Statistic Service, in the current year's first quarter the amount of
capital construction made 3 milliards 609, 1 million drams, which is
68, 2 % more than the level of the same period last year.
As compared with the first quarter of 2006, for the first three
months of the current year the amount of the NKR external trade
turnover increased by 35, 7 %, making 17 milliards 515, 3 millions
drams. For the same period the export's amount increased by 70, 4 %,
the import's amount - by 70, 8 %.
