VASILI ISTRATOV: NO FORCE CAN FORCE THE PARTIES TO KARABAKH CONFLICT AS FORCED PEACE WOULD NOT LAST LONG

"The Minsk group continues its activity and that is the main thing.
Minsk group forms platform for continuing the process of settlement
of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict," Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan
Vasili Istratov told journalists, APA reports. He said that the
process of settlement assumes a specific character in connection with
parliamentary elections in Armenia.
"The participants of the negotiations say the situation is not
hopeless. Everything depends on the will of the parties, though
sometimes we are blamed for leading the parties. No force can force
the sides to do something as forced peace would not last long,"
he said.
