    Industry Veteran and Synopsys Executive Rich Goldman Joins SVTI Board

    Silicon Valley Technical Institute (SVTI(TM)), today announced that
    Rich Goldman, industry veteran and vice president of strategic
    alliances at Synopsys(TM) has joined the Institute's Board of
    Directors.

    "Rich brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge and wisdom to SVTI from
    working with many leading universities and educational organizations
    around the world," said Dr. Ali Iranmanesh, SVTI's Founder and
    Chairman. "Rich is going to be a valuable director and we're very
    excited to have him in our Board."

    "SVTI has done an outstanding job serving the industry through
    high quality, relevant, and timely educational programs," said Rich
    Goldman. "I am looking forward to working with the SVTI Board and
    supporting their mission of equipping students with knowledge and
    confidence."

    Rich Goldman is the Vice President of Strategic Alliances for
    Synopsys as well as Chairman of the Board of the Synopsys Outreach
    Foundation. Rich is a guest Professor at the Chinese Academy of
    Science, and is a Commissioner of the Advanced SOC Design Joint Lab
    Academic Committee there. He is a trustee of the State Engineering
    University of Armenia. Rich has been active in standards organizations
    such as Accellera, EDIF, IEEE, Si2 and OVI for more than 10 years,
    including chairing the EDIF technical committee, and serving on
    the Board of Directors of Si2. Currently, Rich chairs the EDAC
    Interoperability and Quality Committee. Rich served as co-chair of the
    RAPID Board of Directors and was a member of the EIA/EDIF Steering
    Committee. Rich has a BSCS from Syracuse University and an MBA and
    MS Engineering Management from The University of Dallas.
