OSCE MG CO-CHAIRS TO VISIT REGION AFTER PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN
ARMENIA
STRASBOURG, MAY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. RA Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian
taking part in the sitting of Committee of Foreign Ministers of
Council of Europe had a meeting with Co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group on
May 11. As Noyan Tapan was informed from RA Foreign Ministry Press and
Information Department, the latters had met with Azerbaijani Foreign
Minister Elmar Mammadiarov the day before.
V. Oskanian and OSCE MG Co-chairs discussed the schedule of coming
meetings within the framework of Nagorno Karabakh settlement
negotiations. According to the schedule, OSCE MG Co-chairs will visit
the region after the parliamentary elections, which will be followed
by the visit of OSCE Chairman, Foreign Minister of Spain Angel
Moratinos. Private meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign
Ministers with OSCE MG Co-chairs is not excluded then.
All above mentioned meetings are aimed at preparing the meeting
between Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents, the holding of which is
mainly conditioned by the content of negotiations.
