anecdotes, vulgarity and tactlessness have mingled
with freedom of speech,' says director Vigen

When crowds, not public, dictate the taste, market
relations become dominant. Vigen Chaldranyan compares
today's culture with ooze, a chaos.
In his opinion, Armenians have always been loyal to
their spiritual values.
`There must be a clear cut between art and backstreet
jargon. We must never overstep the permissible limits,
especially on National TV Channel as the television
has a significant role in future generations'
upbringing.'
The future of the Armenian cinematography depends on
the country's future.
