MURDER OF 19-YEAR-OLD MARY MATEVOSIAN DISCLOSED
YEREVAN, MAY 14, NOYAN TAPAN. As a result of investigation of
Yerevan's Avan and Nor Nork communities' Prosecutor's Office, the
murder of 19-year-old Mary Matevosian committed on May 12 was
disclosed. Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed about it by
Spokesperson of RA Prosecutor General, Sona Truzian. According to the
report of the Police, the victim was discovered "her arms and legs
tied with woman's tights, with traces of 16 blows with a knife on her
neck and different parts of her body."
Victim's female neighbor is accused of the murder of the pregnant
woman. She is also in her seventh month of pregnancy. Therefore, the
body carrying out preliminary investigation does not publicize her
name, as well as some other details of the case.
