POLICE OF ARMENIA DISPROVES STATEMENTS ABOUT ITS ILLEGALLY PRINTING
    400 THOUSAND PASSPORTS

YEREVAN, MAY 14, NOYAN TAPAN. The Police of Armenia disproves the
accusations addressed to it on printing 400 thousand passports to
implement electoral falsifications. The Communication and Information
Department of the Police of Armenia spread on May 14 a message with
    the following formulation:

"Pashinian Nikol stated at the mass meeting held on May 13 at Opera
square by the Impeachment alliance that during the pre-electoral
period 400 thousand passports were printed in the Republic of Armenia
to implement electoral fasifications during the RA National Assembly
elections. This statement is a result of Nikol's ill imagination and
the problem of treatment is also his."

It is at the same time stated in the Police message that 194.623
passports were printed in the Republic of Armenia from May 10, 2006
till May 10, 2007 (the day of fastening final electoral lists at
polling stations). 31.795 passports were given to people from 1 day to
16 years old, 49.717 ones were given to people from 16 to 18, 113.111
passports were given to citizens above 18 (ones having an electoral
    right).
