ILHAM ALIYEV: THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE TO NEGOTIATIONS

There is no alternative to the negotiations on the Nagorno Karabakh
conflict settlement, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev declared
during today's meeting in Mehdiabad settlement of Baku. In his words
"that is reason for continuing the talks on the Nagorno Karabakh
conflict settlement."
"The alternative to negotiations in war, and Azerbaijan must be ready
for it," the Azeri leader stated.
Ilham Aliyev noted that the economic potential of Azerbaijan is being
reinforced, great sums will enter the country, which will contribute to
political strengthening and reinforcement of the economic potential."
"Azerbaijan will never take decisions contradicting the national
interests," Ilham Aliyev said, adding "when working out its foreign
policy, Azerbaijan relies upon the people's support."
